"Excellent." That was his one and only word when asked how the COMSOL Training Class was going. He was three days into it. I asked him to elaborate. He's an Engineer. He was quiet... "How does an Engineer elaborate on Excellent?"

 

But his comment got us to thinking. Wandering around in the wilderness sounds fun as long as your life doesn't depend on you getting out. Our 30 second DIY, how-to video generation doesn't do much for us when life is on the line. Rather a fully functioning GPS complete with food and water is needed until a clear path to desired safety is found.

 

We wonder if that's how he really felt about our recent COMSOL Training Class. Instead of thinking 30 second clips and weeks of figuring it out all alone was the best way to get out of the woods, he enrolled in one of our classes. There he learned a complete and holistic understanding of COMSOL, and he developed and learned methodologies that, when put into practice, will help him find his solution... and many more to come. So maybe we're taking the analogy a bit too far. But if people are depending on your solutions and those solutions are a matter of success or failure, then maybe not. COMSOL built an excellent tool.
